Finally finished our pole barn! I got to be both t Finally finished our pole barn! I got to be both the client and the contractor on this one. Horses coming spring 2024 🤞🏼. I have a detailed cost breakdown that I’d be happy to share with anyone interested in having one built- Just DM me. Approximately 70k all said and done for those interested. Dimensions 24x48 and built to last multiple lifetimes. This little homestead of ours is finally coming together.

Originally we were just going to re shingle and re Originally we were just going to re shingle and replace one small section of rotted plywood on this shed roof. Unfortunately, once we removed the shingles we found a huge 🐜 infestation. It wasn’t worth salvaging- all the bad wood was removed and all new wood installed. New plywood, underlayment, drip edge, and shingles. No disposal fee. Invoice amount for all labor and materials- $1,210.00. There are still companies out there that will take on smaller jobs and deliver quality service at an affordable price 🙋‍♂️

I say it all the time and I hope I get to say it forever- we have the best clients. Part of having great clients is putting them in a position to have a positive experience and be the best versions of themselves. Daily communication, clean job sites, transparency, a desire to deliver a quality product, respecting that this is someone’s home. These are all things we try to implement on every project. Renovations are stressful for homeowners- imagine not having a kitchen for a month with a young child. Tractor services available. -Licensed, insured, a Tractor services available. -Licensed, insured, and experienced operator. -We will trailer the tractor to your location and provide 7 hours of on site service. We provide the operator, fuel, and equipment. $550 per day. No hidden fees. If you have a multi day project, or even a smaller project please reach out and we’ll work out a fair price. -Your operator will not be as cute as Oats or Rory. -We also can provide stump grinding, brush removal, general ground maintenance, post hole digging, clean outs, dumpster services, trailer services.

Not just here at JMG, but for the industry as a whole. It’s been impossible to keep up. Impossible to answer the hundreds of inquiries a week. We don’t advertise. We don’t market. The totality of our marketing is our website, past client referrals, and IG pics. It felt like posting was counterintuitive because we wouldn’t have the manpower to fulfill the additional requests. Things are starting to stabilize. I expect 2023 to even be a slow year given the current economical climate. So how can we separate ourselves and continue working and pushing forward? I have a mountain of ideas that I’m going to work to implement. One of them is cost transparency on project postings. Here is a built in unit that we designed, fabricated off site, installed, and sub contracted the painting portion to professionals. Labor/ overhead- $2,962.50 Materials- $2,248.19 Painting/ Prep- $976.00 Invoice- $7,900.00 Profit- $1,713.31 I love these built ins, the clients love them too, and I’d love to deliver something you’d love as well. Some of my favorite upgrades are: -oversized soaking tub. -massive niche with glass shelving. -rainfall shower head and waterfall fixtures with optional handheld. -100% oak build ins. -miter wrapped tile surround. I did this for @kemalynn and told her it would take 3 weeks. There were some project delays/sicknesses and it ultimately took 6 weeks. Whoops sorry Kem 😳. The tiles weren’t set properly on their backing which made this install trickyyyy to say the least. I love it, the clients love it, and hopefully you like it too! “So how much does something like that cost?” I get asked this a lot when I post bathroom transformations. Every bathroom is different, but a typical range of $10,000-$14,000 is what it would cost to achieve something like this through JMG Builders. We can do them for much cheaper, and we’ve also done them for 3 times as much. It’s heavily dependent on the condition of the space before we start and the clients goal for a finished product. Whether you hire us for a modest economy bathroom or you choose to go all out, we’re going to treat your space with the same level of respect and deliver to the best of our ability. Returned to do phase 2 of this kitchen project. We Returned to do phase 2 of this kitchen project. We removed the twin windows and reconfigured for a sliding door. We also constructed a pressure treated deck so the back yard can be accessed from the main floor. #value #integrity #craftsmanship
Converted this screened porch to a year round livi Converted this screened porch to a year round living space for my good friends @katie_quick5 and Kyle. Loving all the windows and the shiplap detail on the walls. Katie juggled her house being renovated during the same week that she brought her new born home. Somehow she managed this with more patience and hospitality than I could have ever imagined. 10/10. Harold is one of my heroes. He’s 91 and still cu Harold is one of my heroes. He’s 91 and still cuts his own grass, clears his own snow, farms his own land, and let’s me ask him a thousand questions every time I see him. He’s a veteran, an active member in NJ wildlife committees and one of the greatest story tellers I’ve ever met. He had us convert his bath tub into a walk in shower to mitigate any risk of his wife Joan falling. Y’all, please tell Harold how nice his shower looks. I’m going to read him the comments. Thanks!
